Why am i facing problem in hearing even after using a hearing aid?

Question: I am a 30 years old male suffering from hearing loss (both ears). The doctor has recommended hearing aid but the aid is not working properly at all. How can hearing loss be treated?

    Answer:It seems that the patient is suffering from sensorineural hearing loss. If loss is more than 80 dB the hearing aid does not give satisfaction. In such cases, cochlear implant may help, if found suitable after investigations like CAT scan and MRI of ear.
