The ongoing pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 COVID-19<\/strong> is caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The outbreak was first identified in Wuhan, Hubei, China, in December 2019 and recognised as a pandemic by the World Health Organisation (WHO)<\/strong> on 11 March 2020, as the first known pandemic that may be controlled. As of 16 March, over 173,000 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in more than 150 countries and territories, with major outbreaks in mainland China, Europe, Iran and South Korea, among others. More than 6,600 people have died from the disease, and over 77,000 have recovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In India over 100 people have been coronavirus positive. To stop this CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC<\/strong> Indian government managing the high priority services in every state and same as the state government are providing the best services to the people. Maharashtra state has the largest numbers of coronavirus positive individuals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR),<\/strong> now any individual suspected of having coronavirus (COVID-19) can be tested in over 50 laboratories in India. In addition to ICMR-National Institute of Virology, Pune<\/strong>, 51 Virus Research and Diagnostic Laboratories (VRDLs)<\/strong> and National Centre for Disease Control, New Delhi are performing testing for COVID-19. ICMR-National Institute of Virology, Pune is the apex laboratory for reconfirmation of any positive samples as well as the quality assurance for the testing of samples for SARS-CoV-2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
