Dr. Padma Subbaramu is the UK trained and General Medical Council, UK registered Paediatrician &Neonatologist with a special interest in Neurodevelopmental Paediatrics.
Dr. Subbaramu received her medical degree from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal in India in 1992 and was awarded the MRCPCH by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, London in 2001.
Dr. Subbaramu has more than 20 years of diverse clinical experience in General Paediatrics &Neonatology as well as across the breadth of Paediatric subspecialties such as Paediatric Neurology,Paediatic Nephrology, Paediatric Cardiology & Cystic Fibrosis, and Paediatric Surgery, from internationally reputed hospitals in the United Kingdom and India. She also has to her credit, extensive clinical experience in Paediatric Haematology & Oncology at the acclaimed John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, UK and Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology in Bangalore, as well as in Clinical Cancer Genetics at Manchester, UK. As the one always striving to update her knowledge and keep it current, she has recently returned from the UK with experience in the multi-disciplinary clinical management of children with diverse Neurodevelopmental disorders such as childhood behavioral difficulties, Autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, Developmental Delays, Cerebral palsy, Sensory Processing Disorder, Dyspraxia, Learning difficulties/disabilities and children with special needs etc.
Dr. Subbaramu is passionate about her work with children and considers herself an ‘advocate’ of children. She is known for her outstanding communication skills, and one of her greatest strengths as a Paediatrician is her ability to connect with children (and parents) and put them at ease instantly. She is meticulous and methodical in her approach and believes that parent education is the key to raising healthy, happy children. She is well versed with both Indian as well as western healthcare systems and is fluent in Hindi, English, and Kannada.
