ANSWER:If your diagnosis of Meniere’s disease is confirmed, and then the drug treatment of choice is Vertin: which can be taken for a long time. Diamox does not have a major role. Meconerve forte is a nerve tonic like neurobio forte, which can be taken for a long time without ill effects. In case your vertigo is not controlled by vertin, then depending on your hearing, you may be a candidate for Intratympanic injections of Gentamycin, which is a minor OPD procedure to be repeated 3 times, and gives good results but you need to be evaluated and the audiogram seen before that.
