Dr. Sanjiv Gupta, a brilliant and outstanding doctor has achieved many milestones is his three decade long medical career, resplendent in rich cardiology experience.

Dr. Gupta holds an impressive list of educational qualifications. It comprises of MBBS, MD (Internal Medicine), DM (Cardiology) and DNB (Cardiology) degrees which have been achieved from some very prominent medical institutions: University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) - New Delhi for MBBS, Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) - Pune for MD, Seth G S Medical College and KEM Hospital - Mumbai for DM and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College - Mumbai for his DNB degree. Dr. Gupta’s stupendous academic success is embellished with the achievement of two silver medals and a gold medal for MBBS and MD examinations respectively, besides receiving various other awards and honours - a testament to his genius. Furthermore, Dr. Gupta has undergone several advanced training programs, both local and overseas, to broaden and fortify his grip over clinical experience.

In the course of his career, Dr. Gupta has gained expertise in a wide array of critical procedures like Temporary pacing, Pericardiocentesis, Swan-Ganz catheterization, Arterial lines and Volume-cycled ventilators, Computerised stress testing, Holter analysis, Peritoneal and Hemo-dialysis, ECHO & Colour Doppler studies and Angiographic studies concerning congenital, rheumatic and ischemic heart disease patients to name a few.

While undertaking his overseas Fellowship program in Interventional Cardiology at St. Jacques Univ. Hospital, Besançon, France, Dr. Gupta showed close involvement in all diagnostic and interventional techniques performed in the catheterization laboratory. His independent and efficient execution of diagnostic (adult and paediatric - right heart catheterization: congenital and valvular), coronary angiography and coronary angioplasty (balloon, stenting, intracoronary ultrasound and rotational atherectomy) procedures exhibited the skills of a fine doctor. On a national front, Dr. Gupta played a key role in the inception of the cardiac catheterisation laboratory including its related aspects, at Tongia Heart Hospital (Jaipur) and ensured its smooth running with the implementation of effective measures.

His research background is both prolific & diverse and with such an immense wealth of knowledge, Dr Gupta has headed many CME programs designed to provide the most up to date information and strategies for healthcare professionals. In his strong publication record, he has presented numerous well-documented and topical subjects through original papers, chapters, abstracts and poster presentations in prestigious societies like European Society of Cardiology (ESC), American Heart Association (AHA), American College of Cardiology (ACC) and Cardiological Society of India (CSI) to briefly mention a few. Dr. Gupta is an esteemed member of almost 16 medical societies of national and international repute.

Dr. Gupta takes his remarkable background and seniority of experience ahead while serving as an Honorary Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Santokba Durlabhji Memorial Hospital, Jaipur. Apart from this he also may be sought for his consultation at a private clinic in Jaipur city with prior appointments.
