Why did my mother is suffering from high blod pressure after surgery?

Question- My 62 years old mother had bypass surgery last week. Before the surgery her blood pressure (BP) was 136-140/90 mmHg. But after surgery the BP has risen to 160-200/90 mmHg. What can be the reason for this?
