About Me

Padma Bhushan Dr. Kler is a leading name in the field of cardiology. In his distinguished career of more than 48 years, he has performed over 35,000 coronary, renal, carotid, and peripheral angioplasties.


He has authored about 150 articles in national and international journals. An eminent speaker, Dr. Kler regularly delivers lectures at various national and international conferences like HRS and ACC. He is often invited as a Guest Faculty in the USA, France, Australia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Singapore and Pakistan.

In 2005, he was awarded the Padma Bhushan by the Government of India for his tremendous contribution to medicine. He has also been awarded the prestigious D.Sc (Honoris Causa) by Punjab University, Lifetime Achievement Award by the Indian Medical Association and Times Healthcare Achievers Awards: Legend of Medicine among many others. He has been honoured with the Delhi Medical Association Centenary Award.
