Health Insurance

Many people have been compelled to give up their funds to treat their families or themselves since the COVID-19 breakout in 2020. While the government hospitals' beds were always full, many people had to rush to private hospitals in an emergency. It ripped a significant hole in the pockets of middle-class Indians.

In light of the current circumstances, Rajasthan's chief minister, Ashok Gehlot, has introduced the 'Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana,' a health insurance scheme. Residents of the state are meant to receive cashless treatment through this state-run programme. Let's take a closer look at the various benefits that this scheme is designed to provide to Rajasthan residents.

One of the cheapest and most useful healthcare initiatives is the Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana. It was created to provide cashless annual insurance coverage of up to Rs. 5 lakh to all Rajasthan residents for a cost of Rs. 850 per household.

The Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya BimaYojana, which was launched roughly four months ago, has already helped over 1.2 lakh people in Rajasthan. Furthermore, according to current sources, this scheme has already been registered by 80 percent of Rajasthan's total population, or 1.3 crore families.

On April 1, 2021, Rajasthan's Chief Minister inaugurated this beneficiary scheme. The registration process for this scheme has already begun in each area. However, one can also register through the Rajasthan state government's internet portal.
